The Story Behind the Studio

Needle felting is an ancient craft — and an utterly magical one. Using a barbed needle to tangle wool fibres together, you can sculpt almost anything: a tiny mouse cradling her baby, a delicate decoration, a gift that feels genuinely one-of-a-kind. That's exactly what drew me to it.

What started as a creative obsession quickly became something more. I wanted to share these little handmade treasures with people who appreciate the time, skill, and heart that goes into making something truly by hand. And so, The Crafty Hustler was born.

British Wool, Beautifully Sourced

The wool we use matters enormously — both to the quality of the finished piece and to our values as a maker. We work with some of the finest British and natural fibres available:

• Corriedale — a wonderfully versatile fibre, perfect for both sculpting and wet felting, with a beautiful lustre and soft handle.
• Merino — ultra-fine and silky smooth, ideal for delicate details and vibrant colour work.
• Shetland — a robust, characterful British breed wool with a natural warmth and texture that's perfect for rustic, tactile pieces.
• Blue Leicester — a rare and beautiful British longwool with a distinctive sheen, sourced to support traditional British breeds.
